TES at the National Trade Fair in Slovakia
JA Slovakia organised a big event to celebrate the 20th year of the National Trade Fair for students and teachers involved in Company Programme. The event took place on March 26 2015 in Avion Shopping Park, the biggest shopping centre in the capital of Slovakia (Bratislava). The whole event was organised under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic (Mr. Andrej Kiska) and supported by the Minister of Education (Mr. Juraj Draxler), the Chairman of Bratislava Self-Governing Region (Mr. Pavol Frešo) and many other business partners.
During the event, teachers and stakeholders were involved in a special session dedicated to TES and its Virtual Guide where the Programme Director of JA Slovakia, the CEO of HP Slovakia and the Chairman of the JA Slovakia Board discussed the importance of the TES Virtual Guide to support entrepreneurial teaching and learning in Slovak and European schools. Teachers who uploaded the most beautiful and creative photos on Facebook during the Trade Fair were awarded with a new box of the Creative Cards translated in Slovak language.
Andrej Kiska, the President of the Slovak Republic said: “The Trade Fair is a great opportunity for young skilled students to learn the profession of an entrepreneur. With the skills they can gain in events like this one, they can become successful in their life”.
“We are sure that entrepreneurial education has a big impact on young people. Those who passed our entrepreneurial programmes or activities are more flexible when they enter the labour market and better prepared to find a job after school.” said Adam Šepetka, CEO of JA Slovakia.
JA Slovakia is proud to be part of projects like The Entrepreneurial School. With many ideas and enthusiasm they are looking forward to the next 21st year of the National Trade Fair Slovakia.
